The Loo Lady

Professional Eccentric, Talking Shit That Matters

Talks, Performances, Quizes

Whether as entertainment or with a more serious purpose I love to share my knowledge and have the excuse to aquire more.

I have given talks to a wide range of organizations from WaterAid to Crohn's & Colitis UK to the 2014 World Science Fiction Convention.

Currently available lectures include:

History of the British Public Toilet

Potty Politics: Gender and toilets

The True Thomas Crapper Story

Talks are adaptable to a variety of formats, though usually talk the form of a half hour lecture followed by a half hour discussion.

Loo Tours are a way of exploring some of London's iconic areas from a whole new perspective.

Pub Quiz Events

Far from killing the conversation, it tends to make for the liveliest debates and discoveries! A typical quiz involves three rounds (interspersed by drinks and nibbles), but can be adapted to suit your time constraints and the size of your party.
